Training:
Ms. Cashman (MB BAO BCh BMedSci FRCSI) is an Irish trained ENT specialist. She graduated from medicine in U.C.C with honours in 2003. After completing her basic surgical training she was appointed to the higher surgical training scheme in otolaryngology in 2007, receiving her fellowship in otolaryngology from the RCSI in 2014.
During her extensive ENT training she has worked and studied at numerous centres both nationally and internationally including a year of research in the prestigious Dana-Farber cancer Institute/ Harvard Medical School in 2011. She has over 20 peer reviewed publications, multiple citations, book chapters and has won several awards for her presentations both nationally and internationally. Experience:
She is trained in all aspects of ENT surgery and passed the Otolaryngology Head & Neck surgery examination of the Royal College of Surgeons in England in 2013. She has been a senior clinical lecturer in postgraduate surgery in Trinity College Dublin since 2015 and was awarded an assistant professorship in 2018.
She worked as a consultant in Tallaght University Hospital from 2015-2017 and as a consultant in the Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital’s from 2017-present.
