Training & Experience:
Dr Kirby graduated from UCC School of Medicine 2011 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2015. He subsequently completed Higher Specialist Training in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine 2016-2021. He holds a Rheumatology Specialty Certification, awarded by the Royal College of Physicians, UK.
Dr Kirby was awarded the Aspire Fellowship by the HSE in 2021 and completed a fellowship in Point-of-Care Ultrasound, focusing on musculoskeletal and vascular ultrasound as they apply to rheumatic diseases. He holds EULAR Level 1 Certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
He was awarded the Bresnihan-Molloy International Education Fellowship by the RCPI in 2022 and completed a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Rheumatology at Kings College Hospital, London.
