Training:
Prof Flynn graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1989. He then underwent basic surgical training on the Dublin surgical Rotation for three years. Prof Flynn went forward to carry out his Urological Training in London, subsequently being appointed as a Specialist Registrar on the Wales urological Training Programme.
Experience:
From the year 2000 until 2005, Prof Robert Flynn worked as a Consultant Urologist in Bridgend, South Wales. He was then appointed as a Consultant Urologist in AMNCH Tallaght University Hospital and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire. He has practiced as the Consultant Urologist in Beacon Hospital since March 2007.
